Located on the west coast of Vancouver Island in the peaceful town of Sooke, founder and owner Brian Mooney of E-Fish-Ent Fish Company has been combining old world techniques with modern day equipment technology to produce his award winning smoked, candied salmon and retort packaged ready to eat meals since 1990.

It wasn't long before word spread about Brian's expertise in retort packaging and E-Fish-Ent quickly became a preferred supplier to the Canadian Military. To meet the high demands of providing soldiers with safe and delicious MRE (meals ready to eat) packages, Brian contacted the experts at Hinds-Bock to design a solution that could be easily integrated into his existing vacuum seal equipment.

Having experienced little success with other equipment manufacturers, it was clear to see how happy Brian

 

and his team were during our visit at E-Fish-Ent the day they were packaging Mango peach applesauce for the Canadian Military. "We've been filling hundreds of thousands of pouches with Hinds-Bock equipment and we haven't had a minute of downtime", says Brian Mooney of E-Fish-Ent Fish Company.
